Sad Song

Without you, I feel broke.
Like I'm half of a whole.
Without you, I've got no hand to hold.
Without you, I feel torn.
Like a sail in a storm.
Without you, I'm just a sad song.

Did you recognize the lyrics of the song. Yes, it's the Sad Song by We the Kings. Upon hearing the chorus of the song-if you've heard of it- or reading the chorus above, what comes into your mind? As for me, it's about a person who rely his or her happiness to another person it may be to the person they love or to just an ordinary person who has a gift to make everyone smile. It's like they need other person for them to be happy. Holding on to others means you give your trust to them and by giving your trust your trusting them to take care of the trust you gave to them. They have the choice to either break or cultivate the trust you've given. Without you, I've got no hand to hold. This is like you being dependent to someone. Depend. If you depend to someone its like you're giving them  the right to decide about your life. You're depending on them to create your way or path.

Trust and depending. In life, it's okay to trust and to depend on someone but not too much. Why? Come to think of this, if you depend and trust too much, what if that person choose to leave and break your trust? That too much will just hurt you so much. Then think of what will happen to yourself. You will just be left alone with only yourself that can comfort you. There are times in our life that the person whom we trust will betray us, with or without reason. Like what Judas the escariot does to Jesus. He betrayed Him for money. In life, the person/s whom we think will not betray us are sometimes the one who betray us and those whom we think will betray us will not betray us. How ironic right? There are also times in our life that we only need the advice of our heart, mind, and cconscience in order to make a decision or to face a problem. It's the time that only ourselves will help us because those people whom you depend cannot be with us in our entire lifetime. There will be a time in our life that you will loose them for them to let you live on your own and to teach you how to stand and face your problem alone. During this time, we should have enough trust to ourselves that we can survive that. That we can do it. To show that people whom we used to depend on that you can do it without them.

If ever the people whom you depend on will leave you, think of them as just a supporting actor in your play called life where the stage is Earth with you as the protagonist and a play that has an unlimited supply of antagonist. Where the problems and dialogues are true  with no creative minds needed but only God's mind to produce a script. Where the next scenes are mistery and only two person that can and will always be with you throughout your journey. Who are they?

It's GOD and YOURSELF.
